It's time for -- homework.

The Bean is just a kid. He doesn't really want to be a savior, but he's trapped and now -- to add to the burden -- he has to study up on what's happening.

No one likes having to sit inside, studying on a beautiful day. Of course most people do not have to save the world either.

Hi, I was wondering if I would be able to get in touch with you. I am doing a project in one of my classes, AVID, with two other people. This project stems from a program called Roadtrip Nation, in which we do interviews with people that inspire us and have careers which we would like to pursue ourselves. It would be great if you agreed to hold this interview with us, please respond even if the answer is a no we still appreciate the consideration.

I have to say. I haven't been following long. Just about a month. I love your style. When I was a kid the first art that inspired me to draw was Bill Watterson's Calvin & Hobbs. Its wasn't the characters so much as the love he poured into his nature scenes. I see that same love in all of your scenes. Everything has so much life and detail. The fountain alone has a personality. When I found you comic a month back I started drawing again for the first time in over 4 years. Thank you Trav.

Have fun in Phoenix, Trav. I wish we were going to see you there, but we will be scuba diving in Mexico that weekend instead.

I always read the comic AND your musings below. I wish you could have this as your full time job and not have to worry about anything else. I just love the story and the wealth of detail you put into each page is astonishing.

I read this! I haven't commented before though... I tend to be more of a fly-on-the-wall appreciator/backer. Glad you're on the upswing of things.
