Mistress Ravna have had ups and downs Travis. The world has tilted it's axis and all is well. At least personally. I'm very worried about Japan at the moment. You know, I still have that first issue comic of the Bean? When my son gets older I'm going to show him that his mother is a comic book character, hehe.
Right now I'm hogged down at the computer doing my SO's bookkeeping. He owns the local diner where we live, actually that's why we moved down to sunny Nolby but I love it here so it was a blessing.

I understand that- i do you are still as fiery as ever though:)

Japan is a sad incident right now- I feel for them also and it reminds me how important it is to be prepared myself.

Also I think your boy will enjoy that. So you own a local diner? how cool is that, any the same foods in the dagger?:)

I need to be all fire if I'm going to keep my hubbie on his toes, hehe. He's as stubborn as I am.
Nah, he serves italian pizza, döner kebab, sallads and burgers. The staples of swedish fast food!
We have plans to get a proper restaurant someday and then I'll put some good stuff on the menu.
I've been asking on twitter what the newsletter is all about and so but I don't know if you've replied yet.

lol- i struggle with twitter:) the newsletter is nothing more than a special weekly email that deals with all my art and other projects and few things bean related:)

Swedish fast food:) that sounds pretty good- I know though that you guys would do really well with a resturant:)

I love what you've been doing with your world.

It is so nice to see you again it has been quite a long time:) yes the world has changed and grown a bit. Still the inn is dusty and old, siv is still mysterious- and the bean is still lost:) though I am working it the way I should have done so long ago- Keeping good elements, removing bad ones, and letting the tale tell itself.

So how have you been mistress ravna:)

Trav could totally turn this story into a perpetual time loop now by posting the first page all over again. Ahhh, that'd be sweet. I'd keep reading too.

now that would not be nice:)

I remember when my mom was reading Lord of The Rings to me and my brother, she'd say "and now we have to go back to the beginning of book one" whenever someone in the book asked for backstory. Good memories

I like Papa's look too…plus I like the Lazarus Like look Bean has. What will he rise to be?

Bean starts the story in a strange way in my opinion.
He is so SURE he is not a hero but he GUESS when real things have to be told.

For suspense the break is in a good moment. I guess nobody will interrupt them here on "her domain" though…

jon- that's was intentional – i have always wanted to use that phrase

"Well, you see, it all started when Groggle sent me out to pick some of those special 'shrooms…"

See kids? 'Shrooms will get you into trouble EVERY time! 😀

Love the lower left panel of Papa. It shows just a hint of the hero that he was. (As opposed to the different kind of hero that he currently is.)

One of the things I find amazing about this whole story+art is the fact that your inks are incredibly evocative and expressive and that they take so well to the addition of color. Oftentimes the two are mutually incompatible.

Thank you for sharing.
