I am really picky about the causes I will support. One of my favorite causes is “Kids Need To Read”.
They asked me to do a piece for their calendar for 2013 to help support their cause in motivating kids to pick up a book. Here is my entry to their calendar.

Thanks for sharing this one, a wonderful combination of themes which reflects the reality/fantasy world perceived by a child engrossed in a good book. Nostalgic from my own childhood time reading fantasy in the woods.

Brilliant! The art is fantastic, such a fun piece for kids! I think getting kids, heck anyone really, into reading is such an important task. I feel that it helps unlock imagination, creativity and an open-mindedness that you just can't get anywhere else. I applaud your giving to such a terrific cause! Keep up the outstanding work.

I agree – more people need to read- it is really an epidemic if you look at it.
