I see that “Octopi Removal” is still a popular book. You’d be amazed how often this situation comes up and having the book on hand before it happens can save a lot of trouble. Be aware you have to count the tentacles carefully because there are several important differences between an Octopus and an Illithid. The sister book, “Brain Parasites and You” would be more useful in that case.
