Really needs commas.
“Well, I’ll be, George. There…”
and
“We need to start small, Lenny.”
(I got beat up about grammar by my mother. Her aunt was an English teacher.)

    Its a comic, not an English literature paper for your Mother your or Aunt (both of which should have a capital letter since you are so fussy about it) to grade. You don`t like it, don`t read it.
