Hey there! I just found this comic via Eisner award nominations. Congrats!
I also want to say I'm really thrilled to have found a comic in high contrast. I've been working in high contrast for my own comics for a while now, but with everything around me being either in color or in tones, I feel like I've been stumbling in the dark. Now I have an awesome artistic role model! I feel more confident already. I can't wait to see more of this! 😀

I love b/w – much to the thanks of Jeff Smith and Wendy Pini (original elfquest) It is own thing. Yet I am also going to color this. I am waiting to finish the whole tale before I go back into the world of color, so i keep coloring prints. Yet b/w is not dead I have learned and still has a lot of life left to it. I am glad you found me, now I get to go check out what you do. Keep on creating and dont let your vision get clouded because someone else is doing something different than you.

Crikes, sorry. I thought you posted an ominous tombstone as a sneak peek at 8! I have this book (6) and didn't clue in immediately.
Trav the bean » 6 Apr 2011 »
no – no sneakpeaks yet:)
Scott » 6 Apr 2011 »
…that's not a good sign.
Trav the bean » 6 Apr 2011 »
no it's not a good sign – but it sums up the choice pretty well

A young policeman leaves the Force saying he doesn't like what he has to do. A young teacher leaves teaching, here idealism snubbed.
