Meh. If that much culture was wiped out so quickly, it sounds like the goblins were doing those elves a favour.
Culture is just the bad habits of a population.
Ridding oneself of cultural shackles is just one step on the path to clear understanding.

while this 'monster' has a definite edge to it, I think I prefer the original one you have drawn. the storry most definetly has progressed and further developed even better than I had remembered the original concept( well the one I knew of anyway) Great work as always Trav!

it has been a wild roller coaster of a ride and it has progressed so much since it's first inclination many years ago. I am so glad you like it david- here's to it continuing

…and after months and months of heated debate, the free nations unleashed a scathing barrage of rhetoric against the goblin horde, warning of serious consequences (beginning with economic sanctions) if they persisted in their aggressive ways.
No – wait. That's so wimpy and useless, no one would ever believe THAT story line! :p
Trav the bean » 15 Jul 2010 »
nope no one would:) it is the "civilized" thing to do.
Hoomi » 15 Jul 2010 »
Sadly, "civilized" solutions rarely work when dealing with opponents that don't hold to the same standards of "civilized." If the goblin hordes were civilized, they wouldn't have attacked in the first place.

Nothing sad about it. Scathing barrages of rhetoric deserve only violence in return.
I can't say enough good things about the atmospherics of your art. It's so immersive!
