… So why is that a terrible price?
Did he accidentally ruin the sword by trying to smith part of it himself despite lack of formal training?
Or is the whole "soul" thing not supposed to be a metaphor?

Ah, the old "forge your soul into something" routine. You'd think people would learn after all these years. This won't end well, I imagine.

Anyway, good comic.

Hmm. Elvens were invaded by Goblins, but probably both Trolls and Ogres were somehow harmed by Ganadon. And are they Ogres, forging elven super weapon? I wonder if they do it voluntarily. Looks like there's still a lot we don't know about, but it's pretty clear that whatever has happened, it was… bad, to say the least.

oh it was bad and many people suffered the consequences. I am a true believer though that there are two sides to every coin. Just sometimes noone likes to realize the other side of the coin exist:)

Yep. There's always one guy standing aroung drinking coffee while everyone else is working.

Union steward, obviously. He's too scruffy to be management, dressed for work, scowling as though the whole world were out to rob him, and contributing nothing to the final product. I work in a weapons factory, and that's exactly how the Union Stewards are here!

I'm betting we're going to learn very soon the part of this process that Ganadon hadn't figured on!

lol union stewards…. i think that is really interesting about working in a weapons factory and that you can relate to what is going on here:)
