The Bean 169

Well, as you can see I have been a little busy these last few days. There are many things I am looking at adding, fixing and taking away from the site. The only problem I have is time, but that is an aspect of life that I just cannot really change.

One of the most notable changes is the Travs Art Section of the site. I really did not like any of the current art folios for word press, because it limited the ability to add comments and feedback for each piece. That was a huge frustration for me.

So I said screw it, and just decided to create my own. It’s a little more work intensive but I like the results, so much better. I like being able to customize the thumbnails and the pages. I like being able to link the pics to the store…so if there is a print you like you can buy it right away. Yet, most of all I like that now we can add comments, opinions and thoughts to each individual piece.

Since I have so many pieces to put up I am taking a little time each day to work on each section. It is going to take a bit, so I will let you know what is going on. Right now if you go to Travs Art the following sections are available. Dragons, Dinos, Robots, and Original Bean Art (this is per request).

The Original Bean Art is just what it is. B/W pieces of the characters of Bean and events that maybe you will not see in the comic. Most of these pieces are one of a kind pieces, the original inks. Some are already sold others are not. Each piece bought though helps us out to continue printing the comic and running the site. So if you want to support, feel free to pick one up, though original inks are first come, first serve.

You can just click on any image in the post and it will take you right there.

I have a lot more going on. Some really cool things later on in the pipeline. I look forward to really opening up the story and if you are just joining us, hold on to your socks, cause the ride is going to get a little wild. Yet that is what storytelling is all about.

So back to the grind and to the table.
