I finally made time to catch up with Bean again. I love the dramatic aspect of this one. Larger than life. Fulsome with mysterious possibilities. Beautifully rendered!

Well, I'm busy imagining the kind of reactions or snit the poor wife of the kind man is going to having when she finds that sword after her "moment of clarity." (For that matter, what will be the kind man's reaction?) And I'm almost sure the author is debating which reaction is entertaining for tomorrows update.

And just to clarify – not this panel itself per se – but everything leading up to this point and the rhythm that it was delivered with. This is really good stuff, man.
