well this is the week that Bean 7 goes to print. I am a little nervous and excited. I am also a 4th of the way done with Book 8. The pencils are looking good.

There is a lot going on as well. I am prepping for Emerald con in washington and also for Wondercon in April. The con season is beginning and I am happy to get back in the groove. The shows really inspire me to keep going.

Well looking forward to more artwork.

Boy, do I feel for Ravna…like CookieLord, I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't headed towards a 'showdown', and if Gort is going to find himself with NO employees left. If he keeps this up, he surely will…

I mean, I get he's between a rock and a hard place (I'd be pretty teed-off if my employees kept walking away, too), but he is SO not helping…

Still loving this! I've taken to leaving it for a few weeks to give me a good few pages to read, so I don't get to comment often – but I just had to say, that scene (a few pages back) when Bean materialises the sword was just brilliant – I found myself visualising it as an animation with my mind filling in the undrawn moments between the panels. I'd tip my hat to you if I wore one 😉

    No worries- I know a lot of people do this. They wait for a few weeks to let a scene set up and settle. I do the same with several other web comics that I follow as well.

    The response to the scene with the sword, shocked me. I did not realize how many people were invested in the sword and the bean. It made my day and I am was really jazzed that the imagery worked so well. It let me know that I am on the right track.

I'm taut to see whether there will be an escalation between the two and most of all, what would Gort do to her in such a case?

Also I wish you good luck for your propositions concerning the comic and the con, and in general 😉
