This page is to me the moment Bean sums up all he believes his life has amounted and he has bought into what he has been told that he is pretty much worthless. Yay for Mama Fairie reminding Bean of how special he really is. No one is worthless and everyone is important, even if their resume amounts to little more than “head master of the dishwashers league” 😀

too many people feel that worthlessness is ok- i so disagree – i think mama hits it on the head… i think we all need a mama f. in our lives.

I like this page. Since Bean doesn’t generally seem to talk very much, it’s interesting to hear something from his perspective. (Also, loving the story as usual)

well bean needs to speak up more:) he's been drug all over the place maybe this is an opportunity for him

Haha I think her fancy wording is affecting him! "What are you called child?" "I am called Bean!"
I feel like she's on the verge of flirting with him too on that third panel, but I think I can safely assume that's just her personality 😀

you assume correct:) it's just her personality

Yeah, at least to me it seems less flirty and more motherly, with a bit of good humor and gentle teasing.

actually i know several that are like bean- they are there, they just tend to blend into the background.

I like Bean's humble attitude. It is so unlike modern kids…

This is my fisrt comment on your webcomic and I have to say it is quite unique in everting from story telling to character development. Keep it up and you should become a professanal only in a legal, pay roll sense thens you are already professianal in your work.
