I am a little bummed. I had to buy a new mac book pro, because my other one died. I did not loose any files, just it cost a huge chunk of what I was saving for the trade book. So I am looking at finding other funding. It put me in a funk, but I am happy though I was able to cover the computer costs.

Anyways- if you want to help support the cause go pick up a print or so at the store. I will post more later on the morrow.

I've supported several projects through Kickstarter and have even found new webcomics (new to me anyway) through that source. Sorry you had to make such an investment when you weren't expecting it.

Why do I suspect that she and Goldberry would be good friends?

Here's to wishing your new MBP long years of service. My first MBP went through a series of miserable failures, though it was made in 2006-2007, the years where QC was really spotty.

Something wicked this way comes…

I've seen others mention is before and we've talked about it on the phone too. Kickstarter really is a good tool for raising money AND awareness of you comic. I'm definitely planning on using it again for my next project. Is there a reason you don't want to go that route?

the truth is – i am overwhelmed by the video aspect of it. Presentation is key- I completely understand that- problem is after i saw yours i realized that the bar was raised. Actually it comes down to time. Yet i know you are right. Yet that is the primary key on why I don't go that route.

I can fully understand. I have many things I really want to do but the time and learning curve completely destroys my ability or desire to do it. Perhaps I could help you with the video if you need it. I could reuse some of my animation and if you provide me with the images you want and a recording of your voice then maybe I could put it together for you. Let me know if your interested and we can try to figure it out. I'd hate for you to miss this opportunity because I think you could raise tons of money to fund the graphic novel version of Bean. I know I'd back it!

      Let me know.

Dumb Broken Mac! You could do like a Pre-order trade thing where people could preorder their trade and that would get you the money before so you could order them that way! 🙂

Oh man, that stinks! But thankfully you had the funds there. It's not what you wanted to spend them on, but then again with these situations it never is.

Macs are expensive! Will try to help where I can (money's tight for me right now too, but I'll see what I can do)

Bummer to hear about the computer dying. It is very good news that you did not lose any data. Great page (yet again 🙂 I am very impressed by your ability to bring/use drama in subtle (and not so subtle) ways.

yeah it set some things back. Yet that is ok, I'll get back up.

I am glad you are enjoying the tale.
