He is totally overemoting there.

I mean really… what is with that scrunched up giga-snarl he is pulling in the third frame? How does he get his question out through such firmly gritted teeth? What a ham!

For some reason, his hat lying on the floor in the first panel sums up best how helpless and useless he must feel right now. Beautiful emotion on this page, and I really like how peaceful and calm she is “just healing” after receiving so many wounds that would surely be mortal for a human.

I really love how you are noticing the hidden things. Emotion is not just in the face but in the room around as well-

I am so touched by the love between them. Even though she is an immortal(?) manifestation, it is clear that she loves him, and that he loves her.

There is not just the forest, of course. I would not want any of the pixies mad at me. I suspect they have defenses that can be used as well, when needed.

that was important to me- that they love each other very much. It makes the story much stronger.

I hate to say you have a "typo", but in his "defenseless" the s is missing. 🙁
I am very happy for you to be signing so many books, but yep, it's gotta be tiring!

@Chris: Yeah, I'm with you! Reminds me of the Bean up to his elbows in work.

1) The suspense is killing me. What about the dragon!!
2) New books smell delicious. I envy you.
3) That is one of the fiercest women ever. Much better than any DC or Marvel hero. 🙂
4) I still miss Siv. I hope Ravna and the mystic troll are alright in those tunnels.

It's almost an "I committed to sign HOW many books?" expression on your face 🙂 Enjoy the new book smell!

Yep. That is a man whose sleep is haunted with visions of towering stacks of unsigned books and a pen that slowly scrawls out his name. While the stacks rise and close in around him, as his weary writing hand struggles to move an ever heavier pen. Until, at last, he cannot go on and the books come for him — suddenly waking him with a start in a cold sweat.

      Or so I imagine.

      Keep on truckin Travis! 😀

She makes her point as the indestructable forest lady, more ancient than the trees.
(But nobody better make any age jokes around her!)
