Yes, that's the way I read it. Much the same way the phrase " You people " tends to separate the speaker and puts them on a higher plane than the ones he is referring to. " You cartoonists " has a different feel than just " cartoonists". The story is the thing for me but good artistry adds to the experience. I like the story. ( and the illustrations, the hidden faces are a hoot )
