This whole chapter makes me sad. The feeling got even worse when I saw the three bundles being buried in the middle ground,and realized one of them was a child.

Trav's attention to detail in this way is … gratifying … and surprising. I've been riveted by this story for years now, and I think I'm still here because among many webcomics, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest for just that very reason.
