This is why even experienced pilots with thousands of hours on multiple aircraft still RTFM and use the checklists.
Even if you know where all the relevant controls are for safe operation, it’s hard to fly an plane if you can’t find all the controls to start the engines, and it seems every make and model of aircraft puts them in strange and different places!
