The sad thing about this page is that Bean's home is destroyed and some of the people he knew his entire life are dead and buried while he here still thinks/hopes to return to that Inn one day instead to become a king of elves and humans. :c

Great! Now the bottom panel has me wondering if Siv was Bean’s father and that rose represents his sword that he used to kill the weaves king… OR… If the Guardian was once a human (or elf) and Bean’s dad who killed THE weaved king, Ganadon himself… Neither story is too likely, but the rose here really makes me wonder if Siv was involved in Ganadon’s death OR was given the sword of the rose by Bean’s real dad?

C.S. Lewis once said something to the effect that the best qualification for kingship is to feel oneself unqualified.

The hero never WANTS to be a hero: there lies his main, unfathomable, heroic quality 😀

I would say "outstanding" fits 🙂 it really does. Along the way, you have very much increased my plot expectations, btw 😀

"Caption for bottom right page in last panel: King Heredric the VII met a bloody end, as is common for royalty in these lands."

now if you go back to book 1 you can figure out what the last bottom panels mean and the story they tell or a version of it that differs a little from another version of it.
