…and a scene shift at the cliff-hanger. Nice technique, if temporarily annoying. 😉

And in a few pages, you become just as hooked as you were before and you don't want the new one to be interrupted. The first time I read LOTR I almost had about a dozen heart attacks.

lol I was the same way. It is hard to juggle two story lines… but it is important to find balance.

At this point, I wanted to comment that the pacing of the story is really very good. The time devoted to each of the characters we're following, the way that the unfolding stories are being interspersed, is excellent. Catching up on this comic and being able to read what's done so far all the way through, rather than reading 1 page a day or 1 issue at a time, has really been a different and good experience.

This may seem a little odd…..but when you are drawing this, do you see it in color and pencil&ink accordingly?

Awesome work…I commented over at one of the other sites but to reiterate..I have liked your work for awhile but had never read one of your comics….I must say I very much enjoyed it. Great characters.

actually allen- I am asked that a lot. I see it at times in b/w and at times in color. It all depends on the stage of the piece. When I am working on the comic it is usually in b/w and then when it is done i can see the color. My prints are different I see the color as I move along, yet the color can change:).

Glad you enjoy my story as well. It makes me feel good to hear that.

The environment work is awesome Trav. The rain really sets the mood well. Love the roots of your trees too!
