Awwww 🙁 I finally ran out of comics. I guess now I'll have to wait for the updates like everyone else. In the meantime, do I break out my pencils and color some of these pages before Mr. Ben gets to them? (amazing coloring by the way on the earlier pages). Great story, art, world, history, … definitely bookmarking this 🙂

sorry that you have to wait more
if you want to color, go have fun:) ben is on hiatus for a while. Nothing I can do about it. I am though really glad you like the story so far. The books are actually ahead of the webcomic though:) so if you want to read more you can always pick up the comic books, yet i am also cool with waiting.

Yep, coloring is a good idea in my opinion….

Color would be wonderful- yet it would slow the updates way way down…. I think its far more important to tell the story- than color it later, than to have it drag on….
One day though John, we'll color it all. It has incredible potential

Trav, would you consider this? As the pages get coloured could you move the black and white versions to their own archive? They are tremendously powerful and beautiful in black and white, and though the colour is extremely beautiful too, I would hate for people to lose out on the opportunity to see them in their original state.

Actually you bring up a fantastic point and I am pulling the color for a few days and replacing them with b/w – I have some things happening and since I wont be able to produce the comic in color in a reasonable amount of time right now- b/w will do. I will post the color some where else though:)

Something is not clear… isn't that beast the watch dog of the goblins?
If it is, why would the goblins use such animal which do more harm than good?
Trav the bean » 13 Dec 2010 »
i've never said it was a watch dog:) sometimes though people work with really dangerous things. The grenels- have no leash, nor do they seem to care about the goblins if they get in their way. Then there must be something more sinister about them.

Ain't nuthin' gonna break-a my stride,
I'm runnin' and I won't slow down,
Oh no, I've got to keep on movin'…
(Pretty sad when you're hurt more by your own watchbeast than by the intruder the beast is chasing…)

lol – yeah that goblin took it pretty hard didn't he?

Standing still to get ate, now that not sensible.
Running for my life, very sensible
Hope Siv can outrun the Goblins!

I hope so as well:)

He has longer legs. Thats gotta help.

Those goblins are funny guys 😀
Did I already mention that Siv doesn't act very sensibly here?
Trav the bean » 13 Dec 2010 »
I think that Siv is prob doing the smartest thing possible. Create commotion I mean … he's got a really mean bad guy after him, one that he realizes can prob do a lot a damage, so he heads towards high traffic areas.
I dig the goblins too
I can't say enough good things about the atmospherics of your art. It's so immersive!

the young Hero find “the sword” and must proof himself against a huge Monster. Hmm.. with the last Page i hear the “Bossfight Theme” from Secret of Mana.
