@Teowulf: once you have it in your bookmarks, simply typing bean or beanleaf in your address bar should pull it out of your bookmarks. That is what happens in FireFox and IE. I’d be surprised if chrome and safari didn’t do the same. Think of it as a way to tell the computer you want to goto it again.

It is of my opinion that it wouldn’t work well for this. Trav has the fun decision of figuring out what looks good in 16×16 pixels and still conveys the essence of the work without detracting from it. If he has a logo for his art, that may work, but I don’t know how he would compress Robots, Dragons, Dinosaurs, Imagination and Adventure down to that small size. Of course I’m not an artist. It would have to cover everything because you can’t have multiple Fav-Icons on a website. Yes i realize that favicons can be larger, but it may only look good if the person has large icons turned on.

Favicons are also annoying to setup because of how unwell some browsers handle them.

It wouldn't be too tough to make a 16 x 16 icon of Bean's face.
It wouldn't even need to be readily recognisable… just significantly different from the default icon to stand out.
And pretty much all the browsers I know of handle them well enough these days. Even my cruddy little navigation page I set up uses one, and it works well on the Trident, Gecko and Chrome engines (which accounts for most of what people use).

Just read through everything you have so far in practically one sitting, and I'm loving it so far. Keep up the good work!

Also, have you considered making a favicon for the comic? It would make finding it on my bookmark bar so much easier.

Wow! I have never seen your comic before. I followed a link from El Cuervo Comic. Instantly hooked with this one comic. Amazing work!
