bean color adHi Guys I am heading home from APE. More on that later.

I get a lot of questions on why I do not update more of the story quicker.  Well I am trying. This project is not an easy project, especially one that I share for free. Plus the only way at the moment to gain momentum for the book and story to grow is to color it. It needs to be color so I am working diligently on coloring the original books as well. This means I am updating 3 times a weeks. 2 color pages and one b/w.

I want you to know I am very committed to sharing this story with you. I still though have to cover expenses and keep the kids fed. One of the ways you can support this project is through patreon. A $1 pledge per color update (which can be capped at any time) is all that is being asked. As more funds come in, I am able to devote more time to posting more pages of the comic. Which would mean more b/w updates.

Another way is picking up the hardcopies for your self.

I am very thankful and grateful for all the support in making this adventure a reality. Your support over the years has been incredible and bean would not be here, if was not for that.

So that is why I can only update one b/w page per week and why I am coloring 2 pages a week. It’s not that I am not paying attention to the story, I am just trying to figure out the future of my story and where it is going to end up.

Your help is crucial.

A comma is missing: "Lock down all the ships, Malik(,) for a few days."

"Malik" modifies the verb 'lock (down)' so it is a dependent clause. You separate those from the rest of the sentence with a comma before *and* after 🙂

I knew there was a reason I loved the introduction of Loukin's character so much. He's just so kind and caring and compassionate and has been from the moment Bean and Otter met him. I, for one, am glad he's looking out for the welfare of our favorite little "squire" and has such competent and ethical staffers to both assist and guide him. And, he's such a handsome fellow, too. All the young ladies in Culver's Gulch must just squeal with joy when they see him strolling about and wish they were on his arm (move over Prince Charming, a new cutie-pie is in town).

I am so looking forward to the equally warm reception Otter, Bean, and Bean's channeled king spirit will deal Loukin's flunkies if they are successful in their hunt mission….

Well done sir. You are doing an amazing job with even remaining on the ball with updating at all. Love the story and continually follow and have supported the books and coloring of them. This is so incredible to watch this all play out. Keep up the good work! I think I speak for a lot of us fans when I say we understand your commitment to the story and your family as well and love being kept in the loop. Really makes us appreciate you and your work more as fans.

      Sorry to be a pain Trav, but one other thing, I feel there should be a comma after 'Malik' in the last panel, it reads oddly otherwise (besides which, the extra pause would add to the menace!!! O_O). Great page though, I'm looking forward to seeing some intense action soon, nice build up!
