380 – I looked at this today and said – wow- and then did a double wow as I prepped page 412. That’s a lot of pages and I still have a long ways to go. I do get frustrated though about the time thing. I wish I could draw this all day long, then I would update 5 times a week. That would be pretty cool, yet the only way that is going to happen, is if we sell more books:)

I am also doing my phoenix comic con prep this week and next. I cannot believe my favorite show of the year is 3 weeks away.

Thank you also for the support during my rough health patch these last few weeks. It has been a rather rough ride, one that I have not fully recovered, but I am close. Thank you,  all your kind comments and suggestions have been appreciated. I should be back in full swing on commenting soon.

Well keep creating.

Even now, more than a decade later, I read your note. These pages are beautiful and I’m sorry I did not discover Bean earlier.

Your backgrounds are wonderful. They convey such a sense of reality; it it easy to believe that they do exist somewhere. The overall impression is very organic, like everything is in its proper place (even pipes and boilers). And on several occasion I just looked at the panels for a long time to get every detail.

Why… because it's fun, of course! No, really… the story line is cool and impredictable enough, given the genre. But I must say that for me a major attraction is the drawing style, I simply LOVE the way you render. And by the way… Where is Groggle? Adore that ogre!

I always read the comic AND your musings below. I wish you could have this as your full time job and not have to worry about anything else. I just love the story and the wealth of detail you put into each page is astonishing.

I have finished reading this web comic from the beginning and I am mightily impressed with the skilled artwork and the intricacy of the plotting. I read many web comics and this is one of my top five favorites. Best of luck to you and keep up the good work.

Yup. Read it all the time. I fail at commenting though. Love your work. Troll your web site and Deviantart site fairly often and use your fantastic work for inspiration and just plain enjoyment on a regular basis. I'm glad you are feeling better.

I read your blog posts, I read your comic, I admire the "Storyteller" print we have hanging in our living room, and I've enjoyed introducing my kids to your books. 🙂
