Gort is a classic manipulator. I have seen people try to convince their employees that there is nothing better out their for them. Gort is a little more blunt however, but probably just as convincing because it is easy to believe he means it because he is an ogre. It would be foolish to believe him though. Better to avoid people like Gort if at all possible.
