My heart is a little sad. As an artist and you get to do work for families, you get to know them a little more intimately, especially when they have kids. I love drawing for kids and families. Tonight i found out that one of these connections is passing on… it hurts. The child is 3… and i loved doing the artwork for him and his family. So a little prayer from an old, hard soul, because this journey of mortality is short and that call home comes not when we want it. May his family find strength and comfort and love from all they come in contact with and know they touch lives all over the world. … and may the sun shine tomorrow as the storm winds down.
