Love all the little details. Is that the story of how the moon was shattered? And what are these symbols we see repeated so often? Hmmm… Intriguing!

I see someone is really looking- yes the story of the shattered moon is partly represented. I dont know how many people recognize that- as for other symbols. Symbols have many meanings – some are family names, others represent events and still others….. have much deeper meanings

I found out about your comic yesterday and I really love it. I enjoy reading all the great webcomics out there, and yours I can say is among the best of them…
Artwork is great..especially big panels like this one with lots and lots background information..I just LOVE that in a comic 🙂 A big thumbs up to you!
Btw..Why no one commented so far the wall in the background..I find it fascinating with all the little hints and info one can get from it (the two symbols we see throughout the comic..good/evil?,the breaking of the moon, and the other two bigger parts..)..i just love when you put this things in your comic..continue the good…GREAT work 😉

Travis, it's pages like this that make me so excited about your stories and your art! As I've said before, you are a storyteller, and comics are the perfect medium for your stories!
The Bean is better than so many stories / comics I've read, whether they're aimed at adults, children or any age between.
This is the kind of book that kids should know about and will love, for everything you do with the story and especially the way your artwork inspires the imagination.
I know it's looking into the future, but I hope you'll be able to publish The Bean as one big book, or two or three big books (or whatever), when it's all finished. The graphic novel market for kids is huge right now with Scholastic and other major publishers on the bandwagon. There's no doubt in my mind that The Bean belongs on the shelf in major bookstores next to all the other stuff in that market right now.

First – Thank you.
Second- I believe you…yet few people want to take chances these days and so we story tellers need to find other avenues. It's a tough road. That is one reason, why I print books of the story… So one day I can make it a huge thick graphic novel. It is my dream and so I will continue to share and continue to tell me tale as long as it takes and maybe one day…. it will end up on a book shelf with the help of another publisher…. one day.
I can't say enough good things about the atmospherics of your art. It's so immersive!
