plus right now a lot of people have died in the goblin sacking of darkleaf. They are still trying to figure out one what happened and two who survived.

You know what would be a twist? If Roc Noc, in a well-meaning but misguided attempt to get the Earthdwellers to flee to the Underground (thus fulfilling his purpose as steward of the realm) incited the goblin hordes and started the war.
Yup, I called it. When it turns out that's what happens, just remember I said it first. 😉

what if it wasn't misguided. I like the way you think- though we will have to wait and see…. yet he did not incite the goblin hordes… we find that story soon
